Newport Contemporary Ballet announces the
MJ Milici Ballet Scholarship.
Mary Jane grew up in Portsmouth and spent many years dancing her way through our studios. She was a student in our Academy, a member of our Jr. Company, and performed in several of our Newport Nutcrackers. MJ’s beautiful, kind, hopeful spirit brought joy to so many. We hold her remarkable light in our hearts and will be forever grateful for the impact she had on our lives.
Graciously established by the Milici family, the MJ Milici Ballet Scholarship will help fund the tuition of one deserving Academy student each year for the next ten years. Mary Jane adored ballet. That love and her amazing legacy will live on in the commitment, dedication, excitement, and joy of our wonderful students. Please join us in honoring MJ and helping aspiring young dancers like her follow their dreams.
